Number Masking

Number masking provides an additional layer of privacy for the contacts stored in Captivated by limiting the visibility of their phone numbers.

When number masking is enabled, all but the last four digits of a contact’s phone number are hidden once the contact has been added to Captivated.

For example:

[phone] → •••-•••-1234

Why Use Number Masking?

Number masking can help your organization:

• Protect customer privacy by limiting access to full phone numbers.
• Protect your contact data by preventing Users from easily accessing or copying customer phone numbers, including when an employee leaves your organization.

Enable Number Masking

Number masking can be enabled for your business at no additional charge.

To turn it on, contact Captivated Support using the Support option in the left-hand menu and request that number masking be enabled for your account.
